Tyler Brown

Senior Vice President, Food and Farm

Chef Tyler Brown, named one of Esquire Magazine’s Four New Chefs to watch, comes to SouthCreek from the Capitol Grille, where he earned the coveted Forbes Four Star and AAA Four Diamond designations, but was also voted one of America’s best restaurants by Gourmet magazine, The Food Network, and at the James Beard House. Not satisfied with the accolades, Brown launched Double H and Glen Leven Farms, making the Capitol Grille the only restaurant in Nashville to own and operate its own agriculture and livestock operation for the sole purpose of having the most responsibly sourced, freshest and highest quality ingredients on the menu. Then, in 2010, Brown was among the semifinalists for the James Beard Award “Best Chef, Southeast.” Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University in 1997, and serves as Vice-Chair of the Nashville Farmer’s Market and is a longstanding member of the Southern Foodways Alliance.
