Chef Scott Plumley, a native of Pensacola Florida, is a graduate of Pensacola Junior College with an Associates degree in Business. While his post high school goals involved the pursuit of business, economics, and accounting his heart and mind were always in the kitchen.
Scott began his culinary career washing dishes at the Perdido Bay Country Club helping and learning from the cooks he befriended there. He took his first cooking job only to make more money for school, but quickly realized his passion for the industry. Scott worked the Grill at McGuires Irish Pub both in Pensacola and Destin before landing at Criolla’s in Grayton Beach Florida, one of Florida’s top twenty restaurants, and considers this his culinary education where he worked from the bottom to the top, finishing as the Chef de Cuisine. After spending time as the executive sous chef at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort Scott spent two years in Nashville as Executive chef at the Governor’s Club in Brentwood and The Sheraton Downtown.
Scott currently calls the emerald coast home again and is the executive chef at the Craft Bar in Grayton Beach.
