Patrick Hallahan, a Louisville, KY native, has been equally obsessed with music and food his entire life. His first drum sticks, his first guitar, his first cookbook, and his first albums were all obtained between 4-5 years old, and it has only blossomed from there.
Hallahan’s musical career spans two decades, most notably as a member of the band My Morning Jacket and his other band, Spanish Gold, but also as a touring/recording musician for such artists as Dan Auerbach, Ray Lamontagne, Jake Shears and Vanessa Carlton.
Aside from a love of home cooking and swapping recipes, Hallahan has spent many years in the restaurant industry, and in 2015, he and a few other partners opened the restaurant Butchertown Grocery and upstairs lounge, Lola, in Louisville. He has since parted ways with the restaurant, but holds the place and the experience dear to his heart. Be on the lookout for things to come…he isn’t finished yet.
