Chef Maneet Chauhan is the Executive Chef of Chauhan Ale & Masala House. As a Culinary Institute of America graduate, she has worked in some of the finest hotels in India. As an Executive Chef she has worked in such successful ventures as Vermillion in Chicago where she won Best New Chef for her efforts.
Chef Chauhan is most recently known for her work on Chopped on the Food Network where she is a resident judge and a James Beard Award for Excellence recipient. She has also competed on Iron Chef against Chef Morimoto as well as The Next Iron Chef competition.
Chauhan chose Nashville for her first namesake restaurant after being contacted by Moni Advani to come down to Nashville for a visit. It was during her first trip that she fell in love with the city and people of Nashville. Maneet has also written her own cookbook, Flavors of My World, as well as introduced a signature spice line. Chauhan Ale & Masala House is her first venture into restaurant ownership.
