Chef Jason McConnell opened the doors of his first Franklin restaurant, Red Pony, in the Fall of 2006. With the addition of a second concept in 2008, McConnell Hospitality Group was born. With three restaurants, an event space, and a catering company, MHG encompasses food and beverage across spectrums. Whether it be an after work beer or a night celebrating many years of marriage, our company takes great joy in providing our city with a variety of dining experiences. Our concepts are chef driven and run by professionals who are passionate about service, cuisine, and community.

Each of our restaurants feature seasonal menus, extensive wine lists, and a craft cocktail program. Our “boutique” event venue offers private dining, inclusive wedding packages, and a unique historic building. Lastly, our catering company services all of Middle Tennessee, creates menus that are executed by chefs, and employs a permanent roster of service professionals who are guest focused. We love our community and we love food!
